Gen Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd)

General Agwai served as a career military officer in the Nigerian Armed Forces. He enlisted into the Nigerian Army (NA) after a brief period of employment with the North Central State (Nigeria) Ministry of Land, Surveys and Country Planning, Survey Division. He gained his commission from Nigerian Defence Academy and rose through the ranks as an officer of the NA and in 2006, he was promoted to the rank of Four Star General as Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, after previously holding the position of the Chief of Army Staff.

During his military service, he held a diplomatic appointment as the Nigerian Defence Adviser covering the Southern Africa sub-region. In 2000, he was appointed Deputy Force Commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL).

General Agwai has also held the position of Deputy Military Adviser to the UN at the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DKPO) in New York. He was appointed Force Commander of the African Union Mission (AMIS) and the Joint Force Commander in the African Union/United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID).

Since leaving active military service, General Agwai has been participating actively in speaking engagements, workshops, conferences and mentorship programmes

REAR ADMIRAL FERGUSON DUKAS BOBAI psc+ ndu(China) MIM Dip DSS (RTD)

BASIC EDUCATION

Rear Admiral Ferguson Dukas Bobai was born on the 4th of April 1962 at Samaru – Kataf in Kaduna State of Nigeria. He began his education at the Mayanka Local Education Authority Primary School Zaria from 1968 to1975. He proceeded to the Government Science and Technical School Mashi in Katsina State in 1975 and later the School of Basic Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria from1980 to 1981 where he completed his Advanced Level School Certificate. The senior officer was admitted to the Nigerian Naval College in 1982.

MILITARY AND CIVIL COURSES

The senior officer has attended several military/civil courses at home and abroad including the Sub-Lieutenant Technical Course at NNSQUORRA in 1987 and the Nigerian Army Basic Intelligence Officers Course in 1989 both in Lagos. In 1993, RAdm Bobai proceeded to the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College for the Junior Staff Course and returned to NNS QUORRA in 1994 for the Officers Long Course where he specialized in Navigation and Direction. He attended theAdvance Intelligence Course in the DSS training school in Lagos beforeproceeding to the prestigious Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji course 23, Nigeria in the year 2000 where he completed the Senior Staff Course with excellent grades. Consequently, he proceeded to German Staff College in 2003 where he again excelled at the Senior Staff Course. From 2009 – 2010, he attended the National Defence University in China where he graduated with aDiploma in Strategic Studies. He obtained a Master Degree in transportation from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho

APPOINTMENTS HELD

R Adm FD Bobai was commissioned Sub-Lieutenant in January 1985 andappointed to NNS ERINOMI in February 1988 as a watch keeping officer.Thereafter, he has held several appointments both ashore and afloat. These include Duties with CDI in 1989; Base Intelligence Officer NNS ANANSA from February – April 1991, Security Officer, and later Flag Lt (ADC) to the CNS in September 1992. In 1995, he was again appointed Assistant Director Security in DIA. He left to NNS ARADU as the Navigating Officer. From Jul 2001 to May 2002, he served as SO1 Int at the NHQ. The senior officer was appointed to NNS AYAM as Executive Officer in May 2002 and in August 2004, he proceeded to the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji as a member of Directing Staff. At the end of his tour of duty in Jaji he was appointed the Commanding Officer of NNS ERINOMI. The senior officer was appointed to the Nigerian Naval College ONNE as Deputy Commandant in July 2008 and in February 2009, he was appointed to the Naval Headquarters as the Director of Naval Intelligence. Other appointments held by the senior officer include; Commanding Officer Naval Unit Abuja, Commandant NNS QUORRA and Chief Staff Officer Naval Training Command, Lagos and Eastern Naval Command in Calabar. In April 2014, he was appointed to the Defence Headquarters as the Director Plans thereafter, he was appointed theNavy Secretary in December 2014 to 19 Apr 2016. He became the Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command on Wed 20 Apr 16, an appointment he held until he became the Chief of Training and Operations Naval Headquarters on 16 July 2017. Rear Admiral FD Bobai retired from the Nigerian Navy on 04 April 18 on attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 56 years.

HOBBIES

Rear Admiral Bobai enjoys travelling, driving, walking, meeting people, wine testing and golfing.

Married to Barrister Mrs. Henrietta Bobai and the marriage is blessed with 2 children, Vanessa, and David.

Major General Peter John Dauke (Rtd.)

Major General Peter John Dauke is a member of Regular Course 35 Nigerian Defence Academy and was commissioned on 20 December 1986 into the Nigerian Army Armoured Corps. He holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Ibadan, a Master’s in industrial and Labour Relations and Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies from the University of Maiduguri, Master of Philosophy in Strategy and Development Studies from the Bangladesh University of Professionals and Diploma in Refugee Law from the International Institute of Humanitarian Law Samremo – Italy. 

Major General Dauke has attended the Young Officers Course Armour Tank Weapon Instructors, VBL Weapons Instructors, Junior and Senior Staff Courses, Company Commanders Course (Armour) all in Nigeria. He has also attended the Rules of Engagement Workshop, Roundtable Conference on Global Violence and the course for Directors of Courses and Trainers on International Humanitarian Law all at the International Institute of Humanitarian Law Samremo – Italy. 

Additionally, he has participated at the National Disaster Management Course Organised by Bournemouth University United Kingdom and the National Defence College Bangladesh. He was recently recognized by the Department of Psychology at the University of Ibadan as an Ambassador of Psychology in the Nigerian Army. 

He is a member of various professional bodies eg Member Nigerian Institute of Management, Fellow Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, Fellow Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria and Board member Nigerian Institute of Industrial Security He was at various times General Officer Commanding 3 and 81 Divisions, Nigerian Army. He was at different times Directing Staff at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, and the National Defence College (NDC), Abuja. Before his retirement from active service, he was the Deputy Commandant of the NDC, Abuja. He hails from Jankasa, Zangon Kataf LGA, Kaduna State.

Sarah Amos Gandu

Sarah Amos Gandu is an educator and a result-driven entrepreneur from Moro’a in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

She has a proven track record of academic leadership and institutional development. She is committed to cultivating exceptional learning environments that empower students to thrive in their personal life and also make societal impact.

Drawing on her extensive experience at Airtel Nigeria Ltd, Sarah has successfully translated innovative corporate strategies into the realm of education as a school proprietor. Her business acumen, coupled with her pedagogical expertise, has enabled her to create a dynamic learning institution dedicated to academic excellence.

Through her unwavering commitment to quality education, Sarah aims to shape the minds of tomorrow’s leaders and contribute meaningfully to societal progress. Her vision is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become responsible, engaged, and globally competent citizens.

Sarah Amos Gandu is a distinguished alumnus of Federal Government College Sokoto. Sarah holds a BSc in Sociology and an MPA from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She also holds an Early Childhood Education Certification, from Progressive College, Dublin.

Sarah, is happily married to Amos Adamu Gandu and blessed with three wonderful children- Abba, Aaron and Andrea. Her family is her greatest joy and inspiration.

FRANCIS DANLADI KOZAH, ESQ.

Francis Danladi Kozah, Esq, was born on 30th June, 1962 at Mayayit in Atyap Chiefdom of Zangon Kataf LGA of Kaduna State. His academic pursuit started at LEA Primary School, Zaman Dabo in 1971. Upon successful completion of his primary education in 1976, he was sent to St. Patrick’s Secondary School, Emene – Enugu as an exchange student under the Barewa College Exchange Program. 

He gained admission into the College of Advance Studies, Zaria for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) course from 1982 to 1984. He was admitted into the Faculty of Law of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1984 and graduated with the Bachelor of Law (LL. B) in 1987. Upon his successful completion of training at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, in 1988, he was called to the Bar and enrolled as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on 3rd November, 1988.

Francis Danladi Kozah, Esq started his working career in 1988 as a counsel in the Chambers of Ibrahim Mudi & Co., a firm of Legal Practitioners in Kano. In 1991, he left for Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board, Lagos, as its Board Secretary/Legal Adviser. He set up DAN KOZAH & CO., a firm of Legal Practitioners in 1998 in Kaduna. From 2016 to 2023 he was Board Secretary/Legal Adviser of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Kaduna State Legislative Service Commission, Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency and Member, Kaduna State Institutional Council.

Francis Danladi Kozah, Esq, is a senior member of the Nigeria Bar Association, Kaduna Branch and a former National Auditor of Arewa Lawyers Forum. He once served as Chairman of the Atyap Community Development Association, Lagos Branch and Secretary, Southern Kaduna Peoples’ Union, Lagos Branch. He has received several merit awards which include the Bar Excellence Award, Bar Service Award, Most Supportive Bar Award and CAS Excellence Award. 

He is the Satyim Atyap, a senior traditional title in Atyap Chiefdom. He is happily married to Mrs. Esther Kuman Kozah, a seasoned broadcaster and journalist in Kaduna and blessed with three boys. His hobbies include rendering community and humanitarian services, reading, football and travels.

Jewel Tok Pam Esq.

Jewel Tok Pam Esq. is a principled Leader, Change-Maker, and Technocrat with over 7 years of experience in Legal Practice, Advocacy, and Statecraft.

Her career is marked by a robust understanding of legal frameworks, policy development, and governmental operations. She currently serves in a pivotal role with the Kaduna State government as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Office of the Chief of Staff). She leverages her expertise to influence and shape public policy, ensuring the enactment and implementation of laws that promote justice, gender equality, and societal well-being.

Over the years she has actively participated in Government affairs at State and National levels serving as the Legislative Aide to H.E. Senator Uba Sani in the 9th National Assembly Senate. She is a multifaceted Legal Practitioner with a solid and demonstrated interest in Human Capital Development.

A 2:1 graduate of Law from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti where she received the Afe Babalola University Academic Award 2012. She was called to the Nigerian Bar shortly after. She is an alumnus of Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua where she trained on Business Leaders for African Countries. Enhancing her expertise through advanced studies, she is focusing on a Master’s in Development Studies and Policy Analysis at Kaduna State University (KASU).

She is happily married to Mr. Princely M. Olokor. Jewel Tok Pam is known for her unwavering commitment to public service and her passion for creating laws that reflect the needs and aspirations of the Southern Kaduna community where she hails from. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and social justice, frequently volunteering her time to mentor young women aspiring to careers in law and public policy.

Maj Gen Musa Danmadami (Rtd)

Maj Gen Musa Danmadami (Rtd) is a member of 38 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy and was commissioned on the 21 Sep 1991. He has vast working experience in Defence Procurement, Health Safety Management, Humanitarian Programmes and DDR. 

The past 35 years of his carrier, he spent as officer of the Nigerian Army Armour Corp holding various command and staff appointments until his retirement from active service in 2023. He was the Director Procurement Army Headquarters, GOC 3 Division and Director Defence Media Operations. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the NDA. He has attended several military and civil courses during his carrier both within and outside the country. 

He is a Member of the National Institute (mni) and Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM). He hails from Kono, Kauru LGA of Kaduna State and is happily married with one child. He loves reading and playing squash racket at his leisure.

Lt Col David Dyeri (Rtd)

Lt Col David Dyeri is a member of 38 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy and was commissioned on the 21 Sep 1991. He has vast working experience in Intelligence Security and Risk Management spanning over 30 years. 

The first 22 years of his carrier, he spent in the military intelligence holding various command, staff and diplomatic appointments until his retirement from active service in 2013. Thereafter, he joined the private sector as a Security Risk Management Professional till date. 

He holds a BA (Hons) History from the NDA, a Master’s in Conflict Security and Development and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration. He has attended many military and Professional courses during his carrier both in and out of service. 

He belongs to professional bodies like Member Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and Member American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He hails from Fadan Kagoma, Jama’a LGA, Kaduna State and is happily married with 3 Children. He loves sightseeing and playing squash at his leisure.

Mr. Bello Bissalla BSc, MPDS

Mr. Bissalla is an Entrepreneur, Policy Consultant, Business Strategist, Development Expert, Media Consultant, Agro-Consultant and Community Leader.

He served as the Chief Xperience Officer at the Beltina Group, with interests in Consulting, Packaging, Print & ICT Equipment Supplies, Branding, Digital Print Productions, and General Supplies. He was also the Managing Director of GingerAgro Allied Industries. Mr. Bissalla is the Founder and President of Kwoi Economic Foundation, a social-economic interest group focused on the development of the Kwoi community. He also serves as Executive Secretary for Thrivent Innovative Foundation, Abuja. He is currently the Vice President II of the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU).

As a thoroughbred professional, he has vast experience in development practice, consulting, business development, policy development, media relations management, fundraising and resource mobilization, Policy advocacy and entrepreneurship.

He has worked on major projects for key organizations which include World Health Organization, Nigerian Navy, Palladium, The Global Fund, USAID, NDPHC, NITDA, NNPC, Defense Space Administration, Defense Headquarters, Nigerian Navy to mention a few.

He has also managed various large-scale multi-stakeholder advocacy, media relations, communications, fundraising, resource mobilization and capacity building projects involving several partners which include:

Key among his consulting success was the development of the Kaduna State Ginger Investment Policy and Strategy (KSGIPS) in 2020-2021 under the auspices of GIZ and KADIPA. He has also led a resource mobilization project for the Global Fund which raised $5million from African Corporations.

Mr. Bissalla graduated with a Second-Class Upper degree in Political Science (with major electives in Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising) and a Master’s Degree in Policy and Development Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He has attended several post-graduation training courses. He was part of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative Class of 2013 (a select group of 26 Young Nigerian Future Leaders trained and equipped for future leadership responsibilities).

Mr. Bissalla is passionate about community development in Kaduna State especially in the Southern Kaduna region where he hails from.
